Preparing signage that suits your storefront

Preparing signage that suits your storefront

Establish where the sign will be seen

Start with photos of the storefront and the available installation area. Include a front view and the direction from which customers usually approach. A sign must be clear in its actual setting; an attractive design alone cannot determine letter size or layout.

Prioritise the information

Give the logo, business name and type of service a clear hierarchy. Avoid placing too many introductory statements and contact details on one sign. Detailed information can move to window decals, posters or counter materials, keeping the storefront easy to read.

Agree materials and lighting

Raised letters, wall logos and lightboxes have different structures. Discuss indoor or outdoor placement, dimensions, surfaces, finish colours and cleaning. For illuminated items, provide electrical connection information and installation conditions to confirm a suitable configuration before production.

Check drawings before production

Check spelling, Vietnamese accents where applicable, logo proportions and overall dimensions. Confirm fixing positions, spacing between components and included accessories. The person responsible for the premises should confirm installation conditions and local requirements before approval.

Include the packing stage

Individual letters or large signs may need to be divided into separate parcels. Agree the marking diagram, accessory list and reassembly method so that the recipient can check everything. See signage products and shipping signs to the USA when preparing information for a consultation.
