An all-inclusive duty-and-tax package (DDP) is available, including the agreed process and final delivery.
Sea freight
Duty and tax are according to the selected option: Hamburg Connect can support booking/customs processes or provide an all-inclusive quoted option.

Documents & chargeable weight
Sender identification; recipient name, address and phone; packing list; commercial invoice for business goods; supporting documents such as FDA information, MSDS, certificate of origin or fumigation certificate when applicable.
Express and air freight compare actual weight with volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm / 5000), charging the larger. LCL is charged by CBM or weight, and FCL by container type.
Prohibited & restricted goods
Each market has its own import rules. Animal-origin foods, fresh plants, seeds and untreated wood may be restricted or require documentation. Send product details so requirements can be checked before packing.

How long does shipping from Vietnam to Germany and Europe take?
Express takes approximately 4–6 days; sea freight 45–55 days. Full containers take around 40 days, and LCL consolidation may add 1–2 weeks.
What is duty and tax inclusive shipping (DDP)?
We collect in Vietnam, ship, handle customs and pay import duties and taxes within the agreed scope, then deliver to the door. Air cargo DDP and all-inclusive sea freight include invoices and documentation.

How does DDP differ from European customs and warehousing?
DDP covers the agreed journey from Vietnam to the door. European customs and warehousing covers selected destination services: clearance, storage, sorting and delivery within the EU.
Which goods are prohibited or restricted?
Prohibited goods cannot be shipped; restricted goods require the relevant documentation and conditions. Requirements vary by market. Share product details before packing.
